LYNCHBURG and DANVILLE, VA -- Steven Gould of PLDR Law was introduced as the 2026 Chair of the Board of Governors for the Virginia Bar Association at their 136th annual meeting on January 24th. Not only does this mean he'll lead this prestigious group in 2026, but he's now on the leadership track to become VBA president in 2028.
“I'm grateful to my colleagues on the Board for their trust. From my time as a young lawyer to my current work as the president of PLDR Law, my involvement with the VBA has been one of the most beneficial, rewarding experiences of my career,” says Steven Gould. “It's an understatement to say that I'm excited by the opportunity to help chart our course in the years to come.”
Steven serves as the President and CEO of PLDR Law, which maintains locations in both Lynchburg and Danville.
He succeeds Nupur Sudhu Bal of Richmond, who becomes the VBA's President-Elect, while Lonnie D. "Chip" Nunley III begins his year as the 138th President of the Virginia Bar Association.
